The author talks about the "Phil-hellenes" but he is clear that there are no "Hellenes" in a physical sense, just people of various backgrounds devoted to the idea of ressurecting a polity thats been dead for two thousands years, and we can see that most of the people in Greece at that time, couldn't give two hoots about 'Greece'.
That's right Paul. The Albanian and Vlach revolutionaries were common thieves, murderers and rapists. To be honest nothing much has changed from their evolution. That same policy followed the occupation of Macedonia.
