I will be going to Macedonia and have been told that my mobile phone will not work in Macedonia even if I change to a Macedonian sim card. Apparently, I need to change something else in my phone to make it read the Macedonian sim card. Is there any truth to this? If so, what is it that needs to be done in order for my Australian phone to work in Macedonia with a Macedonian sim card? The last time I was in Macedonia was in 2004, and back then, all we needed to do was buy a Macedonian sim card and you could use it no problem.

As long as your mobile is unblocked from your network here, you just throw in a MK sim and off you go! My blackberry worked fine for emails / data / phone calls just 2 months ago.

Will do.

Visited Krushevo the other day for the first time. Visited all the sites there, damn what a beautiful city it is.

I still have to see all of the new Toshe Proeski museums/church in his honour, and all the other stuff. Beautiful town!

The Tose Proeski memorial house is amazing, however photos are not allowed inside the house. Among the items on display is his laptop that he had with him in the car when he died. The damage it sustained is still visible.

Wow, that`s powerful. Still shocking to me that no airbags deployed at such a high speed crash on a 40,000euro SUV, but yet, no accountability for this.
