UMD Voice is a labor of love. On the eve of publishing our Summer/Fall 2011 double edition, my first thoughts go to our team of contributors, translators, and volunteers who make this magazine possible.

Our Spring Issue was our most widely downloaded ever. The initiative to produce full English and Macedonian language versions allowed us to serve a much wider audience, while promoting the Macedonian language with every new issue.

Summer/Fall 2011 is our largest edition ever, with 54 pages, and our most diverse. We are proud to present a good balance of stories from across the globe, along with a good balance of themes.
