Hey Mate,
Yeah, my wife and I were there in 2007. It's quite a big sight. Apparently from what I have heard, they have un earther alot more since we were there. We walked from Bitola to Heraklea. Its about 3 or 4 klm. They guy that runs it heard us talking in english (as i am from sydney) and he talked to us in English. He was originally from Sydney, so we got to know this guy quiet well. The sight is amazing. You basically walk around at your own leisure. Look, feel and take it all in, don't rush, the artwork they have unearthed is amazing. When we ere there, there was a small museum, but well worth going inside, having a look, taking some pics and doing alot of reading on what has been found there. I won't spoil it too much for you, but it is a very well worth spot to visit. Not 100% sure if it is open in winter, sorry dude..
Yes we walked back to bitola too, but the beer waitng for us made it all woth it. I have alot of pics from Heraklea, but I have no friken idea on how to past them here........

Hey Turtle,
Thanks for the info! Glad to hear you guys had a great time. I am really looking forward to seeing it. It's amazing that after all this time things are still being discovered, but that's a good thing, it keeps the site alive!
