With regard to the Civil War in Greece (1946 - 1949) and the fate of the Macedonian minority that sided with the Communists. The Communists were the only party in Greece willing to end the persecution of the Macedonian minority and grant them equal rights.

Our guys should've fought to the death instead of surrendering. Sloboda ili smrt. However it is very easy to say that when you are not in their shoes. They still had so many numbers.
