He'll most likely be able to pay a fine instead as happens for such things in Greece.

That is, unless their intention is to deny him that and force him to go to jail and create a Macedonian uprising in Greece.

A problem with this though is that having a conviction in any country may restrict your ability to enter the United States in future.

When Nick started the funeral home he did so with a plan which never played out before the doors were closed.
What the hell are you talking about? You're not still drinking like a fish like you did when we used to hang out years ago, are you?

You've been on the good ship Argonaut in the past? Glad to see you made it back to shore safe because I lost a few good ones along the way.

Must be someone from Rakol that that could swim like a riba ..back in the day EX marked the spot! Do you know anything about fastball? Looking for my lost pitcher from the last round.

Cheers!

Okay

He was charged 1,800 Euros with no jail time and the G'rkoman family who pressed the charges are related to him. That was for a tug on an ear, lets see the justice with the cop who killed an unarmed youth - promotion?

What about the MANY school teachers who assaulted ethnic Macedonian children with a weapon?

Remove that BS from Balkaninsight on home page they don't deserve credit for their on-going anti Macedonian lies.

Almost half the article is about the greek name issue

I wonder how this news about Father Tsarknias got so far. This was reported only in some nationalistic greek blogs and were smelling lies from far away! I did not read or heard about this in any greek news media. As greeks nationalists have no more arguments to put forward, now they use any kind of lies to do their thing. Remember the Vasko Gligorov case, few weeks ago?

When I spoke with him early this morning he said in most cases you can just pay a fine ie. sentenced to one year in jail or $3,600 Euros. The title of Archimandrite (honor) was bestowed upon him by the Greek Orthodox Church for his MANY years of service and devotion to the the church.

They now claim he was to happy to be a priest. I've seen Mitsotakis kiss another female in public .. she also must be VERY happy?

Greeks are a pain in the gazo (golo).

BTW

Teddy Mitsotakis has a pink rabbit named "Alex the Zike". Lago so batteria.

Actually Vodenka it was first reported live during the Hardavellas show (with Pavle, Nace and Vallianatos against the rest) by the New Democracy deputy for the Voden region. He claimed to have just heard it. It was then followed up by the zougla.gr news site (of Makis Triantafyllopoulos) and then the Greek blogs picked it up.

The sentence for such things is always convertible to a monetary fine BTW. In fact if it were not I can imagine the Greek government trying its best to have the charges reduced to something that would allow for a convertible sentence - the last thing they want to deal with is anything that can be argued to be a political prisoner situation (even if the charges were criminal).
