Only of those who were under the Greek Patriarchate I think.

The Dragon - Symbol of the Celts/Gauls, who were invading Macedonia hundreds of times.

Why just Celts? Dragon was one of the most popular creature in all Slavic folktales. The Eastern Slavs carried the symbol of the dragon everywhere, their armor was made of plates that resembled dragon scales and their bands (barjaks) had the tops in shape of a dragon head.
The name Serb has the same root as does Latin 'serpent'. The root 'ser' however means 'Sun' since the dragons were connected to it. The dragon was the symbol of great wisdom of force and power in much of the Slavic world.
It is interesting that in the Slavic world, unlike in ancient Greek States where it was the Owl, the animals who were symbols of wisdom were the serpent, hence the dragon, and the bear. The Serpent King was said to posses all the knowledge of the world and he would pass it to anyone who could understand the language of the animals ('Nemušti jezik' - 'Parseltongue'). The bear was considered to be the 'wise cursed one' as the legends say he was once a human being that was cursed by a powerful witch for tricking her.
The Greeks had the Owl because she could see in the 'dark' (but not so well in day light). ;)

This is an interesting read: Order of the Dragon. Notice that in Bosnia there existed a church called 'Ecclesiae Drugunthiae' or 'The Church of the Dragon'.
The Serbian version is a bit different as it mentions the existence of the order from the late 13th century.

I also found this picture. It's the coronation of Stefan Dušan as the Macedonian Emperor. I think it's in Skopje. He bore the title "Macedonian Emperor of all Romaioi and Tribali" (Makedonski Car svih Romeja i Tribala).

---

Concerning the Dragon and the Bosnian Pyramid of the Dragon, here is something interesting as well. This is the royal emblem of the Kotromanić dynasty (who also took part in the Kosovo battle).

All of the Bosnian kings were coronated on top of the hill of Visočica in a small fortress/temple. Today Visočica is better known as the Pyramid of the Sun.

But check this. This is the picture of the location of the Bosnian pyramids and the exact distance from the top of the pyramids to the others (they form two true triangles, all corners are 30°):

Notice the river Fojnica that goes between them.

Now compare it to the royal emblem of the Bosnian kings:

Just to add that in Slavic mythology Dragon was also associated with rivers and floods. Is there more to the stories than we think?

Ok, thanks Toska, I corrected my post as well. It looks those Bosnian Pyramid guys don't allow their pictures to be posted elsewhere. Bastards.

I dont know if this can be seen as thread related, but wanted to post the Sumerian Cult of the Sun.

Points of interests: II. The “Sun” Symbol up page 5

By the way, as far as I know, the Lion the Dragon the Two Headed Eagle and the Moon with Star stand for the sarounding people:

Serbs = dragon, Lion Bulgars, Eagle Shiptars, Moon and Star for Turks.

I dont know if thats correct though.

I know this from my Father! It was also told in one Macedonian Television Documentary.

The original Bulgar symbol was the horse, not the lion. That lion is recently addopted.
