Free Macedonian Language Software
This site allows you to download Maceodnian language (among other langs) software with sound clips!!! It covers basics such as numbers, animals, colours, meeting and greeting, restaurants. I think it's designed for tourists, but the simplistic nature of the flash cards make it ideal for children in the diaspora (and in Greece) learning Macedonian. Each time you get something wrong, it makes you repeat that question (at random points in the sequence) more times so it really drills the info in to you. If you have kids that are learning, or want to learn Macedonian at school, this is a very useful link.

MkMuzika.com: Learn Macedonian
This is a great new site with a good introduction to the Macedonian Language. Following the lessons on this site will give a solid grounding in the basics of grammar and vocabulary.

Selecting a Macedonian Keyboard on Windows
I had a detailed post about this somewhere on the forum (with pictures) but i can't seem to find it. If anyone does, can you please let me know where it is?

Windows Add-In: Macedonian Font Converter to Unicode
This is a Microsoft Word Add In so that you can convert your texts written in certain Macedonian fonts, into unicode so that anyone that opens your document can read the document despite not having the specific fonts you may have used. Download it here LSKonvertMak30.zip.

Google Македонски
Little explanation is required here. This is simply the Macedonian version of Google.

EN<->MK Transliterator (Character Converter)
It converts the jibberish that you get if you paste a piece of macedonian text from microsoft word (written with a macedonian font) into, say a forum entry on the web. It converts the text into proper Macedonian Cyrillic unicode characters, which are universal for all fonts and on the web.
It also has a transliterate tool, which can convert from cyrillic into the english alphabet.. i.e. using ch, sh, zh etc. This is useful for people that struggle with kirilica (mostly in the diaspora), yet can still understand Macedonian quite well.

Translate for google
This site allows you to translate short phrases and sentences into Macedonian for google so that the services become available in Macedonian. All you have to do is sign in to your google account (if you don't have one already, i suggest you get one because there are many things you can access once you have it). If we all do a sentence a day, the availability of the macedonian language service will be much quicker.

Idividi Rečnik
This dictionary allows you to look up words in Macedonian, interfacing with the following languages: English, German, Albanian, Greek, French, Italian. Great tool, with modern translations, especially technological and IT words that my home dictionary doesn't have. NB. The idividi site has a nudie pics link somewhere, so it's likely that the whole site is blocked if you're at work. Otherwise, it's fine.

Macedonian Wiktionary- Викиречник
This is another area of the wikipedia concept where editors can add to a site. The Macedonian dictionary currently has very little information. It would be a great tool to have for Macedonian speakers on the web, so if anyone's interested, add some words to it and we will have a hopefully self regulated web dictionary. Since it is the Macedonian wiktionary, it will not be as contravertial as many of the notorious historical and political articles.

Palatica just told me about the Microsoft Word Add-In, which might be useful for converting documents in specific Macedonian fonts.
