Google Earth
I am sure that many people already know about this service. It is a free program that you can download on your computer (as millions around the world have already done) and view satellite images and geographical information about anywhere in the world. What i'd like to highlight is the possibility of pinning photos to certain areas of the world, be it your local area, or your travels around the world. I think this is a great new way of promoting Macedonia abroad, and it's something that each of us can do. Perhaps choose some of your best travel photos with buildings or landscapes etc. and pin them to the area of Macedonia where the photos were taken, and everyone that looks in the area (potential tourists) can see the beauty of Macedonia. It's an excellent opportunity for each and every one of us to contribute to the economic development of Macedonia.
Bitola Babam Bitola
A professional looking site that gives a snapshot of bitola, from history to tourism to economics to nature to social events.
Strumica Tonight
A website based on social events in the Strumica Region. It is a resource for the youth, but it needs more work to become a tourist portal depending on its aims as a website.
Go Macedonia
A site dedicated to presenting some of Macedonia's adventure travel destinations. It has info on tours etc., but the poor quality of the photos don't do Macedonia, or the website justice. It's a step in the right direction though.
Wines of Macedonia
A site built for tourism and boosting Macedonia's wine sales abroad, this site is a professional snapshot into Macedonia's capability and experience in winemaking. While it's a great site, it needs some more photos. It is the photos more than anything that do the talking for potential tourists.
