Here is a scan of an American immigration document from 1909 showing some Macedonians entering the United States (New York via Glasgow).

Please note that column 9 -- "Race or People" -- reads "Macedonian".

Most from this group appear to be from the Prilep area. Others appear to be from "Uskub" (Skopje), "Manastir" (Bitola) and "Tarnovo" (Trnovo).

You can see they were being sponsored by other Macedonians who were already in the US -- column 11.

Also note in the very top left corner of the manifest the handwriting reads "Macedonians," "Hungarians".
