A friend of mine suggested this to me a while ago. On Ilinden, he usually displays a Macedonian flag on his house window for the whole day to celebrate the day. I think this would be a great idea if the diaspora picked it up. Imagine the amount of Macedonian flags on display in Macedonian dominated suburbs. It gives us some good exposure as well and is great for community pride/morale.

If we can't organise mass gatherings as often and easily as before, we can now make it easy and do something from home.

The idea can be easily and quickly spread. Facebook, the Macedonian radio/paper, soccer clubs, Maco Nights, churches etc.
